The beans had been through the digestive system of the wild civet cat that are commonly found in coffee plantation. As a result of this, the coffee has no bitterness and when prepared properly, will taste and smell extremely nutty and chocolaty. The coffee will be freshly roasted right before shipping or it is also available in green unroasted form. The weight of the whole bean coffee before roasting is 1/2 pound and once roasted will be approximately 6 oz. Similarly, 1/4 pound green and about 3 oz when roasted, 1 pound green and about 12 oz when roasted. The taste of the coffee is very special, and it is good in any brewing method.
