Silage Tarp Heavy Duty 6 mil String Reinforced Black/WhiteString Reinforced Heavy Duty Black and White Silage Tarp consists of 2 sheets of high-strength polyethylene film laminated together with a third layer of molten polyethylene and a layer of reinforced skrim. The white exposed outer layer contains UV inhibitors and thermal stabilizers and the black opposite side contains carbon black to enhance outdoor life. The white outer layer is also designed to reduce heat build up and condensation and is required to be installed facing white side up. The string reinforcement greatly enhances tear resistance and increases service life. The heavy-duty diamond reinforcement responds to tears immediately by surrounding and stopping the tear. The overall thickness of all the layers is 6 mil which provided the right amount of strength and capability. String reinforced plastic is used in more demanding applications which require high tear resistance. The white layer of this heavy duty tarp contains UV stabilizers and the black layer blocks light transmission making the cover a great indoor or outdoor cover blocking penetrating light.
